Film vs. Digital: Let’s compare.
Is film really that great? Is Kodak worth saving?
I shot these photos about a year ago, but never posted them. One of these photos is from a full frame digital camera with a 50mm lens. One of them is from a Hasselblad with the equivalent of a 50mm lens at the 35mm equivalent. The last is from a 35mm film camera with a 50mm lens. All three were shot at the same ISO, the same aperture, and the same shutter speed from the same point of view and distance to the subject. The film was scanned with the same scanner, at the same resolution, and the crops are all at 100-percent with roughly a 3:2 aspect ratio.
Any guesses as to which is which, and what each is?
Next up: the same images, but underexposed by 1 stop, plus a third film thrown into the mix!
After that: the same images, underexposed by 2 stops!  Film vs. Digital: Let’s compare.
