Miss.
This concludes my set on Eagle Mountain, an old Kaiser Steel Mine outside Indio, California (think Coachella). In a way, I’m sad. This brand of emptiness brings so many unanswered questions and there were so many more places I wish I had time and access to. What I know for sure is that at its height, Eagle Mountain had over 4500 residents, a school system, and was mostly self-contained. In fact, it reminded me of closed down military bases—another interest of mine. In the future, I may add the 4 photos that show why I was there in the first place.

Mines are crazy places. In Montana Mine owners and executives pay themselves gigantic bonuses just prior to declaring bankruptcy and leave the mess for taxpayers to clean up. It’s their way of saying thanks to the people before shitting on them.

I really like this whole set. And now that you’ve referred to the photographs which reveal your purpose… you have to post them! The mystery is too much!
