I’m’a let ya’ll in on a secret: I love beer. Not just any beer, though. I love craft beer from small, independent craft breweries, and my favorite? Stone Brewing Company in Escondido, California (San Diego County). It’s a good 80 mile drive from my area of South Orange County, but it has a world-class restaurant featuring ingredients from its sustainable, organic farm.
That’s where these photos are from. We went for there for brunch the weekend before grandpa died, and these photos, like the Star Wars desert and Ford Raptor photos before this post, have been sitting on my desktop for months. Even now, I haven’t bothered to adjust the exposure or to remove the dirt and scratches…
These are also from the same 2003-expired Kodak Ektachrome slide film and my Leica iiib. As you can see, and similar to the last photoset, there’s a prominent magenta/blue hue to the shadows, which is more pronounced indoors.
What did I drink? Bourbon Oak-Barrel Aged Old Guardian Barleywine Style-Ale.  I’m’a let ya’ll in on a secret: I love beer. Not just any beer, though.
